Biography
Devrishi (born Rishikesh Pandey; May 16, 1992) is an Indian philosopher, spiritual researcher, author, and composer, recognized for his contributions to devotional music, Indian Sonic Philosophy, and the revival of Sanatan knowledge traditions. In January 2025, he formally adopted the name Devrishi, dedicating his life to the research, preservation, and dissemination of Vedic sound science, spirituality, and India's sacred heritage.
Along with Sadhana Pandey, he co-founded Sanatan Wisdom Foundation, a research-driven non-profit organization dedicated to advancing Sanatan knowledge through historical research, publications, digital preservation, education, and cultural initiatives. His work spans Vedic philosophy, mantra studies, consciousness research, Indian sonic philosophy, and the documentation of India's living spiritual traditions.
Devrishi currently leads the research for the Shri Krishna Pathey Project, an initiative undertaken in collaboration with the Government of Madhya Pradesh to document the historical, geographical, cultural, and spiritual legacy of Bhagwan Shri Krishna. The project also includes the development of KrishnaPathey.org, a comprehensive digital knowledge platform dedicated to Shri Krishna's temples, pilgrimage routes, scriptures, traditions, festivals, and cultural heritage. In recognition of his research, he serves as the Coordinator and Co-Editor of Shri Krishna Pathey, the official magazine of the Shri Krishna Pathey Nyas, Government of Madhya Pradesh.
As an author, Devrishi has written A Life-Changing Approach, the official biography of Padma Shri awardee Satendra Singh Lohia, and The Coronation of Lord Rama, which explores the coronation of Bhagwan Rama and the dharmic traditions of Orchha. His forthcoming Vikramaditya series begins with Shakari, a historical novel depicting Emperor Vikramaditya's rise, his victory over the Shakas, and the establishment of Vikram Samvat.
His philosophical novel, The Krishna Effect, has received widespread media recognition. Through his work in philosophy, spiritual science, literature, sacred geography, and sonic research, Devrishi continues to build bridges between India's timeless knowledge systems and contemporary approaches to consciousness, education, cultural preservation, and human well-being.
